Anything else you’d like to add about securing a ticket?
-insert SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY meme- This was the ultimate struggle to get a ticket and I still have no idea why. The approval process was straight up annoying. Can't believe I had to be so beggy for someone to take my money.
Anything else you’d like to add about the event organization?
A. Hot. Mess. Between the struggle of getting a ticket, to having to sit in both a "Non-printed ticket line" and then a "Printed Ticket line", then showing up in the middle of nowhere to be in line for an hour as security bottlenecked all of us through one gate, then walking in the dark bush with all kind of creatures to try and catch up to the ONE DEGGEH DEGGEH music truck miiiileeessss away..... Needless to say, the organization CLEARLY was lacking with this event. We finally saw one nice open field thinking "Great! There's actually space for us to move and get on dutty for Jouvert!" WRONG! Bare thorns and cut up leg from this likkle field. Location was poor, organization was poor. Not impressed.
Anything else you’d like to add about the music?
I'm sure they had vibes but it was hard as hell to hear any of it with the one music truck.
Anything else you’d like to add about the food/drink selection?
Had one drink because it was impossible to get to the drink trunk. The nice hot coffee before going inside was a blessing though.
Anything else you’d like to add about the overall vibe?
I think we were all miserable being in the bush. Eventually we caught a vibe but by that time the party was near the end.
Anything else you’d like to add about the cost?
HELL NO. This party was WAY too expensive for the foolishness and wanna be "exclusivity" ticket process. Refund please!

AM Bush was a BIG Flop! Womp Womp!

It's clear that AM Bush JA did not meet expectations or standard this year. Packages are $110 USD and we only got one music truck. At the end, there was another truck to bring us back to the starting point. Why was that truck not on the road originally? I hope the Caesar's army team get some feedback regarding their event and take everything into consideration. They should have a contingency plan for when these issues happens.

Anything else you’d like to add about securing a ticket?
Securing a ticket is like the Hunger Games. I actually tried to get a ticket during the first phase and didn't get through. If I didn't personally know one of the committee members, I wouldn't have got a ticket and that's fact. On a side note: I get that Caesar's Army needs to control the ticket distribution but they has to be a simpler way to do this. Patrons shouldn't have to literally fight down to get a ticket for your event. It's absolutely ridiculous and unethical.
Anything else you’d like to add about the event organization?
I gave this a 1 star rating because there was minimal event organization. The lineup for the entrance was HORRIBLE!! I am small and petite and could have got trampled many times. Where is the security? One music truck? This is a HUGE problem! I don't like being too far from the music truck and truck #1 was a far distance from truck #2 (mind you the music wasn't working). You know how long I had to travel to get scraped by the bushes, branches and unknown objects just to get to this truck. MADNESS! Oh and the road were so narrow that there was ZERO space to dance or even properly chip. INSANE! It wasn't a fun trek to truck #1.
Anything else you’d like to add about the music?
I didn't expect anything less to be honest! It's the same selection as very other fete.
Anything else you’d like to add about the food/drink selection?
Why was the drink trucks so HIGH? I am 5ft. LAWD but I still got my drinks!
Anything else you’d like to add about the overall vibe?
I felt like it wasn't the usual crowd vibe. I mean we were all feeling the same way. If truck #2 was working, the vibe would have been 1000x better!
Anything else you’d like to add about the cost?
Nope! The price did not exceed my expectation. Caesar's Army failed to deliver and I am just truly disappointed. The Caesar's army team got some work to do!

A lot of HYPE for nothing…

As my first AMBush I was not impressed. I would like to try it again, maybe in Trini where I know all the logistics will be better but I think in Jamaica - I would prob try a different Jouvert. I am happy they issued an apology. Hopefully they can prepare better for next year. For them to be so PICKY about who comes to their event it should've been one of the best during the weekend.

This process is SO SO SO stupid. The whole "you have to know someone to get approved before you can purchase" is DUMB. We almost didn't get approved but luckily someone gave us a contact for a committee member. For it to be a Jouvert when you get DURTY in the Bush and you free up yourself - I wasn't expecting it to be a popularity contest for getting tickets... it seems like the two don't go together. Please, make a better process- I know this event is in high demand but you have to be more fair to the people, especially local Jamaicans that want to experience it but don't know committee members from other countries.
Anything else you’d like to add about the event organization?
OKAY - let me tell you the fuckery that happened. When we got our packages we never received the flyer that had the directions or address of the event. It was 2 am and we are waiting for them to drop an address ( we checked social media and people were asking for the address in the comments so we knew that we weren't the only ones who didn't get the location) Finally some people we knew sent us the location. To make shit worst... Caesars Army's IG DM'd us and asked if we found the band yet and send us a pic of the flyer (this was at 5:49 am). We didn't respond as we were there already and didn't see. BUT THEN they sent us another DM saying "We would have given the instructions with your wristband to ensure you received it." Clearly, we didn't receive it in any of our bags- There was about 6 of us who got packages and none included a flyer. I really didn't appreciate that extra message because someone dropped the ball and it wasn't us. The entrance was a JOKE. We waited in a crowd for almost an hour. People kept rushing and pushing to get in the little entrance that they have. It was DANGEROUS at one point. Add in the fact that people have been partying for hours before hand and were prob miserable and sleepy (it was like 4 am). Also, I heard they ran out of cups -- since they were so limited in tickets they should have known how many people were coming and prepared.
Anything else you’d like to add about the music?
I know there was an issue with the music trucks but I didn't experience it. The truck I was by had good vibes. They played older Soca as well as new tunes so I appreciated that. I don't think I can complain about it because I enjoyed the songs I heard.
Anything else you’d like to add about the food/drink selection?
Getting drinks was very difficult because of the amount of people on the road - I was so close to the music truck that I didn't want to go all the way back to the liquor truck to wait to get a drink. The Food was REALLY REALLY good . The Pasta they had def hit the spot. Also had doubles- they weren't the best but still not that bad. Our vegan cousin also had a few options to choose from so that is def a plus ! Also, important to note, they had tea and coffee stations at the entrance. I appreciated that because I needed caffeine and also it was kind of chilly in the open field.
Anything else you’d like to add about the overall vibe?
You can tell some people were PISSED. I think the section we were in for about 2 hours feted hard but once it opened up to the large field the vibes kind of died down.
Anything else you’d like to add about the cost?
For $100, I wouldve wanted more drinks (Maybe even drink carts lined up on the route ... I also didn't see any powder. The food was good and they had a REALLY good wash off station that gave us cute Campari towels and shirts.

Mi want back mi money! All a it!

Compared to all the other ambush events I've attended in the past, this one was hot garbage. I dont know what to start with, as so much went wrong. The ridiculous entrance process, them running out of cups, only having one music truck for 60% of the time, and all the damm stormers made for a miserable time. I stayed in front of the one working music truck as I couldn't deal with the massive amounts of people behind it, and i could barely hear the music as the security rightfully made us stay a distance in front. At one point, quiet a few people were standing around talking and sitting in the grass on their phones. I've never seen something like that at ambush. They need to come correct next year if they come back to Jamaica.

Felt like I was begging to get drinks from the drink trucks after waiting up to 15 minutes. I had two drinks the whole fete.
